Museo Nacional del Prado
The Prado is one of the great painting museums of the world. Its collection runs from the medieval and Renaissance masters through to the early 20th century, with the deepest holdings of Spanish painting anywhere — Velázquez, Goya, El Greco — alongside masterpieces by Titian, Rubens, Bosch, Dürer, Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Caravaggio and Fra Angelico.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–19:00. Closed Mondays. Located at Paseo del Prado, s/n. Allow at least two hours; regulars come back many times.
